Using real historical match data from the Premier League era (1992–present), you'll be challenged to identify teams from their blurred club badges and recall the correct scorelines from memorable fixtures. With over 50 teams that have graced the Premier League over the years, from established giants to fondly-remembered sides, every match is a trip down memory lane.

The Premier League has featured over 50 different clubs since its inception in 1992, from ever-present teams like Arsenal and Manchester United to clubs like Swindon Town and Barnsley who had brief spells in the top flight. How many can you recognise?

Your mission is simple but challenging: correctly identify the teams and score from a random historical Premier League fixture . You'll be shown a match date and two mystery teams represented by their blurred club badges, along with two score values. Your job is to work out:

Step-by-Step Gameplay
Select Your Game Mode
Choose between Beast Mode for the full Premier League challenge, or Bloke in Boozer to focus on your team. If you select Bloke in Boozer mode, you'll need to pick your team from the dropdown menu before starting.
Study the Match Information
Once the game begins, you'll see the match date displayed prominently at the top. Use this date to help jog your memory about what teams were playing in the Premier League at that time and any significant matches you might remember.
Timer & Match Date
The header section shows everything you need at a glance: the match date, countdown timer, and your current score and streak.
- Match date is your biggest clue
- Timer turns amber at 30 seconds
- Timer turns red at 15 seconds
- Streak counter shows consecutive wins
Identify the Mystery Teams
You'll see two blurred club badges labelled as "Team 1" and "Team 2". Study the shapes, colours, and any visible details to work out which clubs they represent. Even heavily blurred, many badges have distinctive silhouettes!
Drag and Drop (or Tap to Place)
On Desktop: Drag the team badges to the "Home Team" or "Away Team" zones.
Drag the score cards to the corresponding "Goals" zones.
On Mobile: Tap a card to select it (it will highlight), then tap the target
zone where you want to place it. Tap elsewhere or the cancel button to deselect.
Placing Your Answers
The game area is divided into draggable cards (top) and drop zones (bottom). Match each card to where you think it belongs.
- Team cards go to Home/Away zones
- Score cards go to Goals zones
- Zones highlight when valid
- Double-tap to remove a placed card
Made a mistake? Double-tap or double-click on a filled zone to remove the item and try again. You can also use the "Reset Answers" button to clear all your placements and start fresh!
Use Hints Wisely
Stuck on a team? Click the "Hint" link beneath each badge to reveal the stadium's geographic coordinates. You can open these in OpenStreetMap to see where the ground is located. But be warned – using hints will reduce your bonus XP!

The hint modal reveals the stadium's latitude and longitude. Use the "Open in OpenStreetMap" button to see exactly where the ground is located.

Submit Before Time Runs Out!
You have 90 seconds to complete each match. The timer is displayed at the top of the screen – it will turn amber when you have 30 seconds left and red in the final 15 seconds. Once all four zones are filled, click "Submit Answer" to see how you did!
Review Your Result
After submitting, you'll see a breakdown of your score showing which parts you got right. The correct answer is revealed, and you'll earn points and XP based on your performance. Click "Play Again" to tackle another match or "View Summary" to see your overall session statistics.

Scoring System
Every match gives you the chance to earn up to 4 points and valuable XP to level up your profile. Here's how the scoring breaks down:

As you accumulate XP, you'll level up! Each level requires progressively more XP to reach (starting at 100 XP, then increasing by 50% each level). Your level and progress are displayed in the score panel during gameplay and saved between sessions.

Tips & Tricks
The match date can narrow down which teams were in the Premier League at that time. A match from 1994 won't include Leicester City!
Even when blurred, badge colours can be distinctive. Red and white? Blue and white? Narrow down your options!
Some clubs have very distinctive badge shapes – circular, shield-shaped, or unique silhouettes can give it away.
You have 90 seconds – take time to think. Speed bonuses only apply to perfect scores, so accuracy beats speed!
If you're confident about one team, save hints for the other. The 10 XP penalty is worth it if it secures a perfect score!
Use the Reset button if something doesn't feel right. A wrong guess loses more than a few seconds of double-checking!
